Meet The Team

Our Director, Heather, has been a dog trainer and behaviourist for over 35 years and is one of the most advanced clicker trainers in the UK.  She is a Certified Training Partner with the Karen Pryor Academy and a Registered Animal Trainer with the Animal Behaviour Training Council. Heather is also a Full Member of the Canine & Feline Behaviour Association, a Reiki Master, and a Recognised Assistance Dog Trainer for Dog AID.  Her in-depth knowledge of Canine Functional Characters is the subject of a book she authored during the first lockdown, and is entitled "Beyond the Breed - the new way to know and understand your dog". Heather is also qualified in canine first-aid and owns two Staffie crossbreeds - KD and Ava, and a Rottweiler, Tali.

Leanne is trained in animal care and canine first aid, and has completed a 2-year Business Management course. Leanne loves to spend her time with animals, in addition to all the dogs at CentreBarks, and feels very lucky to call this her job.  The highlight for Leanne is seeing how happy the dogs are when they come to CentreBarks.  

Linda is our creche assistant and driver, helping to ferry our furry clients to and from their fun days at CentreBarks. With a passion for animals large and small, Linda has never been without a dog. She currently shares her life with a Rottie/Husky cross, a Bulgarian rescue dog, her husband and four children, which is why Linda is always on the go!
